In the WATER axis, Claudia Müller and Matías Labbé display the first version of HEXA Project. The piece offers an immersive experience in the Schiaparelli Glacier, which is located at the western side of the Cordillera Darwin, in the Subantarctic Magallanes Region. Since the first explorations of this natural territory, the study of the great continental ice masses at Chilean Patagonia has been based on data collection. Throughout their creative process, the artists worked together with glaciologists in order to translate a set of data related to the retreat of the glacier into a graphic and sound visualization, such as fluctuations of energy, changes in water levels, and speed of the ice flow.
