XIRIUS is a virtual platform for navigation among agents who dialogue in the orbits of scientific knowledge and the arts. The project is based on Canis Major constellation with its star Sirius, which lights up its nose like the hound in the Hunter constellation. This dog is a seeker who helps his master to find what he needs; at the same time this star is the most luminous in the southern hemisphere when spring arrives, being a sign for the native peoples of the time of sowing and planting.
In this space XIRIUS is a link between art and science projects already in feedback with each other, as well as in potential collaboration. The structure of XIRIUS works on the basis of diverse origins projects that are transformed into nodes of connection open to interaction, forming constellations of knowledge in different stages activity, sharing experiences, data, dialogues and possibilities; assuming a notion of complementary and sustainable development in constant enrichment.
